The Law of Attraction is a Science

The Law of Attraction is The Law of Vibration.

It is the Science of attracting more of what we want and less of what we don’t want.

For more than a hundred years, science has shown us that everything is energy.

Energy = Vibration. A very simple concept.

The Law of Vibration is working ALL the time whether we are consciously thinking of it or not. The vibration or vibe we give out is the vibe we get back.

Michael Losier who wrote the Law of Attraction handbook tells us that we need to be conscious of our WORDS which become our THOUGHTS. Our thoughts send out VIBES and depending on the type of vibe we send out ~ we get RESULTS.

The Law of Attraction vibration is a feeling ~  we need to stay excited about our thoughts ~ our words ~ our vibes ~ our results. For our best life!

A great sentence is: “I’m in the process of . . .”  This helps us keep our vibration high for the best results!

The Law of  Vibration is a Science!

The Law of Attraction works!

Do You Have Limiting Beliefs?

What are Limiting Beliefs?

Limiting beliefs are beliefs that hold us back from being the best we can be.

We are raised with family beliefs and society dictates we should have certain beliefs.

When we become adults we should question if these beliefs still hold true for us.

I know some of the beliefs I was raised with are not the beliefs I have now.

I’ll give you an example, my maternal grandmother, who I’m named after believed if people were wealthy, they were greedy and not nice people.

As an adult, I know lots of wonderful people who are wealthy and definitely not greedy, they give financially as well as their time to their communities.

That limiting belief does not fit with me anymore, so I changed it by incorporating a new belief and releasing the old belief.

If you have found some beliefs that no longer fit for you, I offer individual sessions to take you through the process of changing the limiting belief ~ negative vibrational energy to the new belief ~ positive vibrational energy. This new belief is one you can embrace to serve you for a happier, healthier and more successful life.

Let’s embrace our beliefs to be the Best we can Be!

Happiness Always

What does happiness mean to you?

I like Robert Holden’s definition of happiness.

He says that Happiness is a gift and not just for ourselves. It’s a gift to our family; our friends; our colleagues; our acquaintances.

Happiness is good for each of us and it’s good for everyone else too.

Studies prove that happiness is more than just a pleasurable emotion. Happiness has essential properties that bring out the best in us and helps us to be genuinely friendly, loving, forgiving and kind.

I get that ~ when I experience happiness I’m in a really good mood and I want everyone I meet to be happy too. It’s kind of infectious.

When I’m happy I can’t stop smiling. Have you noticed when you smile at someone ~ even if you don’t know them ~ they will smile back?

I love watching children playing ~ that is pure happiness. Children experience happiness naturally and easily.

I have a great grandson who is pure joy as he plays. I love watching and playing with him. His smile and laugh are the definition of happiness. I can tell it’s his natural way to be.

I love this quote by John Lennon:

“When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’.

They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life.”

If you haven’t already ~ I encourage you to give yourself the gift of happiness.

Happiness Always!

Peaceful Meditation

What does meditation mean to you?

To me is means sitting in a comfortable position and just BEing.

Try to remember we are Beings, not Doings.

There is no right or wrong way to meditate.

Taking a few moments or as long as you have to sit in stillness ~ is meditating.

There are a variety of styles of meditation ~ each with different strengths and benefits.

Here are a couple of examples:

Metta, is a type of meditation also known as loving-kindness meditation, which begins with

developing kind thoughts and feelings toward yourself.

Through practice, people learn to extend this kindness and forgiveness externally, first to friends,

then acquaintances and ultimately enemies.

Kirtan Kriya is a method of meditation that combines a mantra or chant with repetitive motion

of the fingers to focus thoughts. It improves the ability to perform memory tasks.

There are many great health benefits of meditation:

  • Reduces Stress
  • Reduces Anxiety
  • Promotes Emotional Health – improves self-image, creates a positive outlook on life
  • Enhances self- awareness – helps to develop a stronger understanding of ourselves
  • Assists us to grow into our best self
  • Improves Sleep

Meditation is something everyone can do to improve their mental and emotional health.

And remember ~ there is no right or wrong way to meditate.

Here is a simple meditation:

If you are just learning how to meditate ~ here is a very simple and easy meditation exercise:

  1. Sit comfortably in an upright position with a straight back.
  2. Close your eyes.
  3. Breathe in for 4 counts, hold your breath for 4 counts, breathe out for 4 counts and hold for 4 counts. Repeat.
  4. Focus your attention on the breath and on how the body moves with each inhalation and exhalation. Notice the movement of your body as you breathe. Observe your chest, shoulders, rib cage, and belly.
  5. If your mind wanders, return your focus back to your breath.

Maintain this meditation practice for two to three minutes to start, and then try it for longer periods. Slowly work up to 5 counts and then 6 counts.

EnJOY your meditation time!

Practicing Forgiveness

Forgiveness is really an act of letting go:

  • letting go of anger
  • letting go of hatred
  • letting go of bitterness
  • letting go of any negative thoughts we may be carrying around

We can forgive and let go without even encountering the person we want to forgive.

However, forgiveness is a process. We can recognize that staying resentful only keeps the anger or bitterness alive. Thoughts of resentment, anger, hatred, bitterness represent slow, debilitating energies that will dis-empower you. Releasing these energies will give us more peace.

Dr. Wayne Dyer says forgiving others is essential for spiritual growth. Eventually forgiveness progresses to the heart which is spiritually liberating.

We also need to forgive ourselves, to honor what is past, to love and respect it.

Look back and say, “That’s what I needed to do, that’s the person I needed to be at that time in my life. I did that, and I’ve learned from it. Now I can move on.”

A Course In Miracles Quotes:

Notice each day whether you are choosing to live in fear or love.

Fear can keep you disconnected from the loving presence inside of you.

Fear binds the world. Forgiveness sets it free.

These are 2 very powerful thoughts:

Forgiveness is the key to happiness.

Forgiveness is my function as the light of the world.

Abundance in Your Life

What does Abundance meant to you?

Often times we think of abundance as money or wealth.

Abundance is so much more than a healthy bank account.

Actually Abundance is a Feeling

If you FEEL abundant ~ you will be abundant.

For me I feeling abundant is many things:

When I go for my beach walk. I’m fortunate to live just a few blocks from the beach and one of my ‘happy places’ is to walk by the water and see the beautiful view of the ocean, the sky, the sand, the logs washed up on to the beach and to smell the salty sea air.

~ I feel abundant in my lovely home, reading in the morning in front of the fireplace.

~ I feel abundant when I cook a healthy meal.

~ I feel abundant when I take time for my family.

~ I have a journal that I write in each week – all the ways I felt or observed abundance. There are many instances and when I look back over my week, I’m always amazed that so many opportunities to feel abundant have shown up.

I encourage you to keep a journal of your abundant happenings each week!

Our Heart Has A Brain

Our hearts have intelligence ~ they don’t just “feel”, they “know”.

At the Heart Institute, Heart Math leaders, Howard Martin & Deborah Rozman are making discoveries of the how & why our hearts have this intelligence.

It has been proven that our hearts have over 40,000 neurons that talk to our cognitive brain.

Our heart is a source of wisdom and connection. Our heart actually receive information and then communicates this information to our brain.

Heart Rhythm Coherence is when the heart & the brain & the body are in sync.

When this occurs we become empowered.

Try this exercise to create heart rhythm coherence:

Sit in a comfortable position, close your eyes, then take 4 or 5 deep slow breaths. Put 2 fingers on your chest at your heart area. Envision that you are breathing into your heart ~ this will result in synchronizing your heart with your brain and your body which will enable you to feel connected and in harmony.

Practice Gratitude

The dictionary definition of gratitude is ~ the quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation and to return kindness.

How do you practice gratitude?

I have a gratitude journal I write in every night before I sleep. I write down all the things that happened during the day that I’m grateful for. It gives me a sense of peace before I sleep.  I believe that it is also the reason I wake up joyful every morning.

Do you like it when people thank you for something you did for them? I love to let others know that I am grateful for the things they do. I sometimes forget to say “thank you”, however, I’m definitely grateful.

Dana Smithers is an author who has published a 52 week gratitude journal. This journal is based on the Law of Attraction as she is a Law of Attraction (LOA) certified coach as well as a coach for women entrepreneurs. I write in this journal every Sunday going back over my week to record everything that happened the previous week that I’m grateful for. It’s a profound way to find and maintain joyfulness is my life.

Here are some great quotes:

~ Have an Attitude of Gratitude

~ Gratitude changes everything

~ I am grateful for all that I have. For all that I am, and for all that is.

~ Brené Brown says, “There is no JOY without gratitude.”

Being grateful attracts higher energies which in turn make life more joyful.

Be In Joy

joy-happiness-wellness-gratitude-blog

What does Joy mean to you?

It means many things to me, watching my children playing and laughing when they were little. Now they are adults, I find joy is the great conversations we have.

Spending time with my friends ~ going for coffee or lunch.

How do we keep joy in our lives?

Robert Holden who has written books such as Be Happy & Loveability says we should make this affirmation every day:

“Today I will follow my joy”. In his online course “A Daily Dose of Happiness”, he says that happiness or joy is good for you and it’s good for everyone else too. It helps you and others be friendlier, more loving, forgiving and kind.

Wow – that’s pretty good! A daily affirmation about being joyful!

So how do we be joyful and stay joyful?

I find being grateful helps me stay in a state of joy.

And it’s being grateful for small things ~ like the sun is shining or I found a great parking spot on a busy street.

Of course I’m grateful for the big things in my life too ~ like my home and my wonderful husband. But sometimes we take these for granted, so it’s always a good reminder to thank those who  make our lives joyful.

Being of service ~ how do we do that?

  1. Smiling at strangers . . . . wherever you meet them
  2. Helping anyone who needs something . . . a door opened, groceries carried
  3. Saying thank you and giving a compliment ~ sincerely meaning what you say

Having positive thoughts, changing my negative thoughts to positive ones.
